The city, in the exercise of its police power, assumes control and jurisdiction over all waters within its limits, and such waters shall, for the purposes of this chapter, be known as “Gig Harbor Bay.” (Ord. 1334 § 1, 2016; Ord. 766 § 2, 1997).
