This chapter shall be deemed an exercise of the power of the city to license for revenue and regulation, and nothing in this chapter shall be construed to repeal or affect any other ordinance of the city which purports to regulate some business or activity pursuant to the general police power of the city, notwithstanding the fact that such ordinance may or might contain provisions relating to the licensing of such activity.
