“Planned unit development” means a development in a district on a parcel of land under single ownership, in a manner that makes possible greater variety and diversification in the relationships between building, open space, and uses, in order to encourage the conservation and retention of historical and natural topographic features, while meeting the purposes and objectives of the comprehensive plan.
