The Gig Harbor city council delegates the responsibility for making final determinations on boundary line adjustments and short plats to the planning director, or his or her designee. The hearing examiner shall have the authority to make final decisions on preliminary plats, plat alterations and plat vacations. The city council shall make the final decision on all final plats.
