18.08.196 Flood hazard areas.

Areas which are prone to flooding and which are identified in the Federal Emergency Management Administration flood insurance rate maps for the city of Gig Harbor (September 2, 1981) shall be subject to the requirements of this section.
A. Regulation. All development within flood hazard areas shall be subject to the requirements of the city of Gig Harbor flood hazard construction standards (Chapter 18.10 GHMC). (Ord. 1245 § 38, 2012; Ord. 1036 § 35, 2006).
